do mellers cham going into heat or anything before they lay eggs? mines acting weird and im wondering if its time for her to lay eggs again and if shes looking for a mate or something?

"Heat" is something mammals go through, not herps. Your question is best answered by reading The Melleri Discovery website. Some show receptive coloration if they are developing eggs, but I think that's temporary. After a certain period they won't want anything to do with a male and will display this.
