Meet Waldo

I just received Waldo from 'Veiled Guy' this morning. He came out of the box with a strong grip and seems well hydrated and well fed. I have seen him with his eyes shut a few times but I assume that that is only because of the stressful shipping process. He is just barely two months old. I am quite happy with him and he is gorgeous in person. Here is a picture of him that I took from my sisters phone, so the picture doesn't even do him justice.

I have some crickets free roaming the cage, and some in a feeder bowl. I've misted him and it appeared that he took some in from licking his lips and opening his mouth. He is moving around and exploring his cage as of now, and I'm trying my hardest not to just stand by the cage and watch him all day as I know that he needs time to acclimate.

I have not seen him eat yet, hopefully he has grabbed some while I was out of the room. I will examine his poop when I see some to make sure that he is hydrated and well fed.

Well, tell me what you think of him.

Thanks,
Jake

Thank you everyone for the compliments, he seems like he's actively exploring his cage right now. This guy is just too cute.

He is such a sweetie! Baby chams are the cutest thing ever! Amy was about that size when I got her. It's quite scary handling one so small - they are so tiny and you can't feel any weight to them, and boy do they wriggle and run, lol! :D It's amazing how fast they can run when they want to. Amy was so fast she ran off of my hand in a bid to escape from me. Nearly gave me heart failure!
