Meet Sgt. Floyd Pepper, My new Yoda baby!

I had today off so I could be here to receive my new addition! I had been talking to Nic at Chameleon Kingdom for quite a while to arrange getting one of the famous Yoda's sons when they were ready. Now that they little guy is here I am very excited. He was pretty stressed out of the box ( I had to yell at the UPS driver for being negligent with the box that was clearly marked with how to handle) so I am letting him settle in. I believe he is 4 months old, and he is a gerthy little fella, I am so anxious to watch him mature. I will get some pics after he has settled in but for now here are some pics that Nic sent me a week or two ago.

Sgt. Floyd Pepper!

The name is from the great character that rocked the Bass and sang on the Muppet show with Dr. Teeth. Do a you tube search if you don't remember Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.:D:cool:

Aww! What a cute little man you've got there! Bet you were pacing the floor and looking out the window every two minutes this morning?! :D

Before hooking up with Dr. Teeth, he had a lonely hearts club band...
Very colorful fellow!

Beautiful little guy, with tons of reds! Congratulations. I looked at Chameleon Kingdoms emblem on their site. It's like a European "crest" and it's a riot.

Glad your happy with him! Ups men and their negligence . Im sending the hatch certificate that I forgot to put in the freakin box in the mail for you tomorrow. Look forward to seeing updates down the road!

I got to meet Nick's "family" in Jan while visiting in Atlanta. He has beautiful chameleons that are extremely well cared for (I pick up some good hints) and I don't think you could do better. Wow I may have seen your baby before you did as I was their mid Jan.

Thanks Everyone!

You guys know you can count on posts on his development as I did with Lombardi. It is so much fun to document that baby to brute transition that happens what seems like so quickly. Nic really couldn't have been any cooler to work with, and tolerated my pestering from the day I heard the babies hatched, and I would not hesitate to do more business with him in the future. Right now little Sgt. Pepper is in a settling in period and as soon as he seems comfortable I will have some new shots of him in his new home.

In case you are not familiar with his sire Yoda, who is now owned by senior member and resident photog Royden. Check out this link for a rockin' Yoda pic.

Yoda!
