Meet my veiled!

So I am somewhat new and still figuring my way around the site. Just wanted to introduce my Chameleon, Jose. He's about 8 months old, I've had him since he was about 3 months old... (this is all based on what the reptile store told me when I got him). He is my first Chameleon and I am pretty much in love with him. I don't know what I didn't get one sooner!

Nice looking guy you got there . And yeah I felt the same way when I got my male Veiled last summer. But I always had mixed emotions because he kept me stressed out all the time lol

I know EXACTLY what you mean about being stressed all the time! I'm always checking on him making sure he is okay and freaking out over every little thing!

I did all the same things. I was on here day and night reading posts to make sure I was doing everything I could for my little guy. Any noise I didn't recognize I ran over to the cage to see what was going on.

Now that I have one, I'm already looking to get my second chameleon. So beware, you've been bit with the bug.

Yep that's just how I was. The only thing I really worry about now is that he has a habit of coming to the top corner of his screen cage because he's seen it open from there before and he wants out (I know for certain that his intentions are wanting out now because he used to come to the top corner on both sides but now he only goes to the side that opens up...little Einstein ). Anyways he'll get up there sometimes pushing it with his nose and end up falling. So I decided to put some fake abutilon plants on the bottom to make for a cushy landing lol.
