Well... Some of you might know that I have been working on a very large out enclosure to have ready this summer... For the goal of finally starting to breed after years of preparation and anticipation. So I have been in the market looking at Chams to start my colony with... When I pointed out an available pair that I saw online to Julia (my Lady)... I got myself into trouble... She saw the Male and said "I want that one!"... One thing led to another and well... They were delivered to our house today! Once again like with all of our Herps... We are in Love!!! He is a Ambilobe/Nosy Be born on 7/5/07... She is a Nosy Be... Born Late July 07... They are beautiful ... Chaeck out the video from a couple weeks ago that the guy I bought them from sent me... And Here are some Pics... Does she look small for 9 months?

Thanks!...You know we just noticed we are going to have to load the pics we were just taking... Cause this is one that the guy sent me... These are his chillin' colors... When he fired up today... LOOK OUT! Freaking Awesome!

She deffinately feels small to me...I havn't weighed her yet... but once I do if all is well I want to breed them... And the guy I got them from said that she was starting to show her peachy "in the mood" color and said they were both totally ready. When I showed him to her in her cage he was all about it and started the bobbing his head... but she clearly wasn't having it... she turned dark and turned to retreat... I don't blame her... he has got to be at least double her wight... I have seen other pairs mating and they seem more proportionate... I might have to get another female :Dcause I don't want to push her until she is receptive.

They are beutiful and all...but it doesnt seem like theres that much foliage for em to hide in or get shade in:confused:

I am definitely adding some stuff tomorrow after my trip to lowes... But the pics don't show what they do have... They each have a 1.5'x1.5'x4' tall side of the enclosure and each has a giant pothos that hangs the entire length... Then there are those ropes... They seem to have enjoyed it enough considering that's what they are raised in... but you're right... I personally prefer to have more foliage for them. I haven't had the chance to add anything else yet as I just got them like this today... But you can rest assured they will each have a jungle soon enough.:D
