Pinhead crickets are two small for him. Get 1/4" ones or "smalls"
He needs smaller branches to climb on, and lots of them, at all levels.

He seems to be actively hunting them down. I havent seen him eat but he did get a little fatter since the day I got him.
Next time I will get bigger crickets for him to munch on. Are can you keep this with pitless pygmies?
