Mealworm Cocoons?

Hey all!
So I made a huge mistake and accidentally left a container of meal worms out of the fridge for too long, and now half of them have formed weird wriggly cocoons! I don't plan on breeding them, so I was wondering if my boy can still eat them in this state. Mealworms are usually his favorite treat, but I'm not sure hell take them in this state. But if he would, do they still have the same nutritional value once they've cocooned?

Thanks!

Mealworms don't make cocoons. They go from the mealworm to pupa to beatle. If they're pupa the cham can eat them too
