Meal worms exposed to mold.

So I have been out of town this past week, I had my girlfriend feeding my cham in the mean time. When I got back into town I noticed that the meal worm container was most and upon opening it I found mold inside with the meal worms. She is unsure if the mold was there before or had just started to grow. Question is, if my Cham was eating the mealworms and they had been exposed to the mold, will my Cham suffer any major issues?

I'm not sure if your chams will have any health issues or not. I would recommend you call your vet and ask. I definitely would not feed them anymore.

I've had this happen with fruit in my superworm bins. I cleaned the bin, got rid of anything moldy, let the worms feed on clean food for several days (to get any moldy food out of their gut) and fed them to my chams. Haven't had health problems that were linked back to bad feeders.
