Me Vs. Crickets

Hello Forum!!

Have not posted in a long time but.... had a lol moment this morning and had to share. I figure this is the one place that ppl will 'get' it.

The struggle to keep crickets from escaping into my apartment, and sometimes even out into the hallway to others apartments, has been.... until now.....
crickets - 1 million
me - 0

Finally I think I have a container that is the perfect height so they cant jump out and my veiled can still reach them, enough curve so the crickets cant weasel up the corner, and I poked a small hole and angled it a bit so any water caught it in will drain out.

So anyway.... here is the lol moment :)

FionaBane "Oh you think tupperware is your ally. But you merely adopted the plastic; I was born in it, moulded by it."

CricketMan "Why didn't you just kill me?"

FionaBane "There's a reason this tupperware dish is the worst container on earth... Hope. Every cricket who has ventured here over the centuries has looked up to the stick and imagined hopping to freedom. So easy... So simple... And like legless grasshoppers running from shoes, many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope... I will let them believe they can survive so that you can watch them clamoring under each other to stay in the dish."

CricketMan "I do fear being eaten. I fear being eaten in here, while others wait to be tossed in as well, and there is no one to save them.

Wise cricket "Then make the jump, as the child did."

:D:D:D:D:D:)

hang a baby food jar below your chams basking spot. crickets cant jump well on glass. and the chams can just eats them as they please - no hunting require. kinda like a chameleon drive-thru lol if the baby food jar don't work just use a mason jar
