Sounds like he's doing the "leaf walk". Chameleons have a distinctive walk that looks funny to blend in with moving leaves since they would normally be walking on branches in trees. It's to try to hide from predators by looking like their surroundings...obviously doesn't work too well on a human arm! But that's probably what it is. Signs of MBD are bent legs, double joints, fractures, "rubber jaw", weakness, deformed or stunted growth to name a few. Here's a great article on the care of Jacksons chameleons. Doesn't look like MBD from the pics at all.

He is very skinny in the pics, and looks closer to the 10 month age judging by his size and horns. Definitely a young adult rather than a baby. Shipping is stressful so lots of hydration and good gutloaded feeders for him!

thanks man that clearly helped me out understanding the sittuation better . I was suspecting he was skinny too and not mbd thanks again man

Heh ferrets would be my second choice pet besides snakes, well, maybe third because squirrels, our fourth because of huskys, but it's definately up there.

i ordered zilla from lllreptile and supply company thier chams usually good quaillity id recommend them for anyone thier also usually good with ages specially when the CB my cham walks like that when hes nervous. give him time and space to addapt and plenty of water the trip gets them good and thirsty. :) i doubted them at first too your chams fine just keep an eye on him. no pics btw.

So do you actually have a ferret, who has beenin your shoes??? :D

I did actually!! She would steal the insoles out of people's shoes, so while she was busy wrestling them out she'd be a furry blob in your shoes! It freaked people out when they came over and lost their insoles, or noticed a weasel sitting in their shoes. ;) She passed away a few months ago sadly. She was an adorable little thing!
