Hi All,
I just went a picked up a female Veiled Chameleon that I had intended to mate with my male. She is 2.5 years old and is in the worst shape that I have ever seen in a cham. Her legs are swollen and she can't hang on to anything. I tried giving her water but she wouldn't have anything to do with it. She had already been feed wax worms before I got her so won't eat now, but there was NO sign of calcium supplement anywhere in her food dish. She has bumps all over and the person that I got her from said they just tossed crickets I to her cage. So the crickets ate her tail. That's what I was told. I think this is MBD. I can't take her to the vet for another 2 weeks is there ANYTHING I can be doing in the meantime to make her more comfortable?
