Is there a super tiny dwarf living in the cage also? Whats the hammock for?

You'd be climbing the rocks to if you had no branch's or greenery to climb on.

What do you mean dwarf? The hammock is for him to sleep high above the ground like they like.
He has a lot of branches and greenery in his cage you just can't see it.

Yours might be different but they usually like to sleep on vines. Hammocks are better for other lizards like iguanas. Buy if yours likes it then go with it. That is good that he is climbing well though. They can become a lot stronger over time when treated well

Just from the small bit of your cage in the picture things look like they would be more suitable for a gecko. Rock walls and hammock's serve no purpose for the chameleons health and well being. A chameleons feet are not designed to climb rocks. Think of them as more link pinchers.

Give this a read for when he out grows what he is in now.

There is no way of knowing if he likes it or not, but he doesn't try to climb down or anything. He just stays there. :) do you recommend any leaves to put in the cage (like a certain brand of fake leaves or something), and where would I put the leaves? How would I attach them to the branches or whatever? I'm knew to this :)

Chameleons live atop trees. Design the enclosure to make it look like they're in a tree. There are no rock walls up in trees. Look through the enclosure thread on here - there are a lot of pictures that other members have posted for ideas. Just make sure everything's secure so he can't fall when things collapse.

Rock walls are fine but you need more vines and foliage. You can use real vines as long as you wash them. Or you can buy the ones from the pet store. You can get fake plants and leaves from a crafts store like michaels. Umbrella plants (schefflera) work great bc they are taller and quite leafy and you can get them from lowes for around $16.

Yes, if he is climbing the rocks it means he needs more suitable climbing material.

I would get a schefflera, easily found at any lowes or home depot. I get mine from the local nursery because they do not use pesticides on their plants. If you do get a plant from a big chain store, just wash it off quickly with soap and water.

You can also get a pothos, which is another good plant, but if you dont hang it, it is more of a ground vine-type plant.
