Would like to introduce (in order) Mazzy, Maynard, and Miwa. We got our chamildren in order. Mazzy is a gift from my boyfriend. She started our little family with Maynard (also shown with head pointed up) and Miwa we got 2 weeks ago for my daughter. We love them dearly ❤️ ❤️❤️ and am thankful to this forum. We are able to find all the information and help we need. It is much appreciated. My bf built some amazing enclosures for our chamildren and they seem very happy.
Thank you everyone for your help and the much needed information to properly take care of our babies. Triple M

They are so cute! 💕 mossy poles can be dangerous though. They hold bacteria , can get moldy & dangerous if they rub their face on them when shedding cause they can cause eye injuries.

Welcome to the forum. Third picture with the cham pointing the nose straight up. Does it do this often?

Are you running any T5HO fixtures with UVB lighting? These are the long linear fixtures that run the width of the cage.
We havent got the linear yet. But we have the full spectrum LED and the UVB bulb. We are using the dual fixture light. And pf course the heat lamp. 75 watts tp keep the temperature at 80. And the heat on bottom is about 70 to 75 rn.

Oh that was the first time when we barely got him. He doesn't do that anymore. Point his head straight up.

So your asap purchase will be the correct UVB lighting. They are high risk for developing MBD without the correct lighting at the right distance for exposure.

Need T5HO fixtures and 5.0 or 6% bulbs. These need to run all the way across the middle of your cages from one end of the cage to the other.

This would be extremely important for your female as they pull calcium from their bones to try to compensate and this deforms their limbs. Females then can have major issues trying to dig to lay their eggs.

I would recommend doing full husbandry reviews for your males and your females. Husbandry will be different in a few areas from male to female.

Thank you for all the information. The person you tagged about the lighting, we will get on that right away. But so far since getting our chamildren in march they have been good with the lighting and our plants are still well and thriving. Thank you

You can not see MBD until it is too late. I can guarantee they are developing it now. So please do not hold off on this purchase. It is a slow and painful death and the bones will always be bent and bowed when it gets to that point.
