maybe gravid female jackson?

what type of of UVB, linear? UVB shouldnt be 80 watts, never heard of such a thing. The basking spot should not go over 80 but remember that Jacksonii are low light species.

sorry i had my brother type that it wasnt 80 wat. it was 80 degrees ? Its weird because im the reptile/ferret/exotic animal smart guy and hes the engineery type and he got that wrong ? But i moved the heat lamp back farther so its like 75 degrees is that good?

what type of uvb? reflector sort of implies cfl, a lineal reptisun 5.0 would not produce upper cage temps of 80*?. what would be good is if you were using a genuine reptisun LINEAL 5.0 and used an appropriate incandescent house bulb of about 25-40w for your uva/basking. the maximum accessible temps in my cages is 84* jmo ps i guess its not possible to edit titles

Yeah 75 is good, but just make sure you get proper lighting. A 5.0 linear uvb and a normal heat lamp with a 25 watt or 50 watt depending on how hot it is in your house will be perfect.

Good I'm glad to hear it! I think we would all like to see new photos of their enclosures so we can help you tweak anything that might need tweaking.
