Poor little girl. I’m guessing it was a pet store where she was kept with her siblings. It is wonderful that they made sure to get the sweet girl the veterinary care needed. Hopefully they learned not to keep chameleons together.
It could be a cage door accident too that caused the need for amputation.I used to be given chameleons that had cage accidents, etc and ended up with the legs being amputated or damaged. The store couldn’t sell them damaged and I didn’t want to see them put down if it wasn't necessary.
