Mandarins?

Would mandarins make a good substitute for oranges as a gutload? I just picked up a bag for $2.98.

i dont see why not they are from the same family and i would assume contain the same nutrients i would try it out!

I use those "Cuties" for my oranges and I believe they are the same. My bugs tear em up and leave the skin.

Cuties are clementines but I believe mandarins should be about the same. I know I feed mandarins to my dragons as treats and they love them so the bugs should too

I know this is a food safe list for dragons and not chams but lots of them fall in the same category and atleast give you some nutritional content, so I use this to go by as well for gut loading for my Cham. For the most part anyway. There may be some things on here that are not so good but it helps

I cut them into quarters and put them in my cricket cage and they love them, they are the first things that get eaten the quickest.
