Male - Too old to breed?

Hey Everyone,

I recently adopted a male chameleon from a co-worker who is moving and can not take him with. He is 5 years old, and I just wanted to know if there is an age where males will no longer be able to "produce." As far as I know he has never been introduced to a female so he has never had the opportunity to show his stuff. I have a female that is ready to go and I don't want to waste her time with him if it isn't even possible.

I have a male panther that will be 6 years old next month and will still breed.

You will know soon enough. Usually if they will court her, then they'll breed. If he ignores her then he's past his prime so to speak. At least in my exp.
