If he is wheezing he needs a Dr. visit for some meds. he prolly has an respiratory infection. He looks like a healthy guy in your pics though! They do get dull and seem wrinkly when they are about to shed.

What are you feeding the horn worms?

If he is wheezing he needs a Dr. visit for some meds. he prolly has an respiratory infection. He looks like a healthy guy in your pics though! They do get dull and seem wrinkly when they are about to shed.
I’m worried cause last time he shed was over 2 months ago . we took him to the vet and I was very displeased on how they were handling him

Try to locate a different vet that specializes in exotics. If he has an infection only meds will cure him.
They gave us a pink liquid medicine told us to give it to him for 2 weeks he said it’s for respiratory infections we still have some left he stopped his really heavy wheezing but I still hear little wheezes as he breathes

I'm glad you are taking care of him and wish you the best of luck. He looks like he is well cared for, where did you get him?

Call the vet and tell him/her what's going on and see if they will give you a different antibiotic. If the meds your pet is prescribed don't seem to work call the vet and let them know. You may just need to pay for more meds or just go on the same for longer. At least ask them.

  • Feeding - superworms, Crickets and hornworms all fed carrots and potatoes. You need to improve your feeding,/gutloading of the crickets and superworms IMHO. You can use dandelion greens, kale, collards, endive, escarole, squash, zucchini, carrots, sweet potato, sweet red pepper, etc and a small amount if berries, pear. apple, melon, papaya, mango, etc.
  • Supplements - We use the Herpatitive rep cal and the d3 from repashy we were giving hiM both but now only calcium every other day it's important to dust the insects at most feedings with s phosphorus-free calcium powder and twice a month with a phosphorus-free calcium/D3 powder and twice a month with a vitamin powder.
  • Watering - I hand spray him 2/3 times a day sometimes we warm the water and then sometimes we leave it cold lately he hasn’t drank in 2 days but usually drinks from the spray bottle I would also use a dripper that runs long enough to stimulate drinking. It can be a deli cup that had a tiny hole in the bottom of it somit drips at the rate of one or two drips per second.
  • Fecal Description - He poops big and someone’s a little orange but mostly white
  • History- he has had a wheezing problem he still hasn’t fully recovered from and he can’t seem to grab on with his arms I'm curious about him not being able to grab on well...can you post a photo or two of him from the side showing his arms please? Sometimes the RIs require more than two weeks of the meds or a different med.

  • Temperature - We bought a temp reader it just broke but his cage is about 60-75 with the heat on with the heat 83 . There should be a basking area all day not just part of the day unless your room is hot (in the mid 80's F) all the time.
  • Humidity - We spray with warm water to help humidity cause it is very stuffy and hot in the room or just really cold. But we had a humidity ready it was usually in 55-70

Air conditioning?? If so...that might be part of the reason he has an RI.

Current Problem - in the last 2 days he has been hiding in his pathos plant not getting any light and his skin seems to be wrinkled and loose and he does seem to be pale of color with not a lot of energy I’m very worried about him I'm worried too. Are his eyes open all day?

You said..."They gave us a pink liquid medicine told us to give it to him for 2 weeks he said it’s for respiratory infections we still have some left he stopped his really heavy wheezing but I still hear little wheezes as he breathes" ...I'd like to know what the medication is. Is it baytril?

I think he looks healthy too, eyes look good etc. Sometimes my panther will stay in his plants days and I’m like wtf! I do keep a light on full time...the light you have, could it be too hot? Sometimes they’ll get hot and go into the shade. As far as diet, I’m terrible about special things other than making sure humidity and water are readily available, and my guys are super healthy with very strong grips. Maybe try just one type of food for a few weeks to see if he improves. Then try a different type, etc.
