male or female?

she does have substrate I went in just a few days ago and removed leaf litter from bottom, and she has been digging test holes. The substrate is about 3-4 in. thick to screen over charcoal and hydro balls. Substrate is coco fiber moist mixed with sand and organic potting soil.

Excellent! I figured you had a fully planted enclosure but it would be remiss of me if I didn't ask. The girls don't like the dirt to be too wet but moist enough to hold a tunnel so don't overspray. It's been a long while since I worked with the temporalis but incubation times were 120+ days at cool room temperatures. I usually removed the eggs from the enclosure and incubated them in one of those small Ziploc containers filled with moistened vermiculite.

Good luck! The temporalis are way cool.

i bought a bag of vermiculite and a Rubbermaid style round container. I have been sticking to 2x misting manually a day. I try to remember to poke a little finger to check soil moisture when I clean up potty messes:rolleyes:

I hadn't seen females with tails that fat! I knew they were thicker than a lot of other pygmies, but wow! I thought my girls were thick!
