Male or Female?

Ok. So I'm not a breeder and Mona is my first Cham. I was told she was a female and so I have setup a nesting dish etc....

Someone on a fb group saw a pic of my mona said the barring and tail look male. She recently shed and had darker, more green/blue colors than she used too....

So... do I have a male or female cham? Thoughts? I'll try to get a pic of her with a straight tail eventually...

So
This is what you should look for, the little bulge at the base of her tail, if you want to make your own assumption.

The bulge indicates a female? I dont think mine has a bulge.... the only reason i even care is bc im nervous about her first egg lay.. i have a nesting bin in there... just more want to know....

No problem! The bulge indicates a male, so if yours is bulge-less, it is a female. It is good that you have a laybin already in there. Can you post a picture of it? Also, how old is she?

I believe she is about 7 months. Her nesting bin is a large pot with a very small umbrella plant in the side so she can lay next ti a root ball or not. I alternats pots because otherwise the drip will flood the dish since i dont yet gave adequate drainage. Her full grown cage will!

Yeah i'd say that's a female. Especially if she's 7 months old. If she was a bit younger then it would be hard to tell but at that age you would be able to see a bump if it was a male. My male is 5 months old and there's clearly a bump.
