Male or female veiled?

Hi,

I think I see a spur, but it seems to be very small, so I am unsure. The chameleon is about 5 months old. Help me with id please. Thanks.

Male. There is a spur and you can see faint bars coming in that the males have.

Well, he laid a clutch of about 30 eggs today

How's your girl doing after laying the eggs? Is she eating and drinking? I recommend extra calcium without d3 the next few days. Below is a link to raising female veileds. If you are not breeding her then you will cut her food and heat back in a few days and this link will explain how to do it.

Thanks for the link. She seem more or less returned to normal behavior. Can't yet say if she regained her appetite, but at least I have seen her eating today.
