Male or female ambilobe

Hello all,
I got this beautiful panther back in April. Its growing well and has had 2 sheds since then. I wanted to see what everyone thought about the sex. I was not told the sex as it was about 3 in from nose to tail. He/she is 6.5 to 7 in now. Let me know if the pics are sufficient. My guess is its probably 4 months old but not sure could be more, was not told the date of birth. Besides reds, the other colors are more pastel looking not as vibrant as the reds. Blues, greens, and yellow are all present but not vibrant. Reds and orange and white are the brightest. Let me know what you think.

Thank
DJ

Man this is the hardest chameleon identification ever.. colors say female but he/she has a bump.. Is your cham always that color? I mean is he showing sometimes red and green or blue at the same time? Ornis it just aleays brownish orange? At 4 months it should start showing color pattern if its a male.

I have to disagree with most of the above posts and say it is a female. The base of the tail looks too thin to me. If it was a male, the tail would be thicker at the base and taper to a point. Your chams tail is skinny at the base with almost no taper, instead the base is virtually the same thickness for a ways.

Here is my new male, he looks to be about the same size as yours (3.5 months). Notice how his tail blends smoothly into his body.

It stays about the same color all day. Only really changes when I take it out.

Yeah I see what ypu are saying.... either way ill be happy and with time ill find out but yeah I do know some take more time to develop so idk

Thanks everyone. Will give an update in a month and it should be clear by then. If it is a female I would be open to breeding with a male when the time comes.
