Male/Female?

Need to know what the gender is on my new guy. I'm guessing male? Not for sure.

Hes a blue barred ambilobe. He's always a dark shade with stripes all around his face.

You need a better shot of the tale base, a direct side shot. It's hard to tell from the angles you have.

Tail shape and color on the flank and cheek say definite female.

I just hope that egg laying isn't to bad of a problem later on.

I've also read about how female's colors aren't as vibrant and pretty as males. Can anyone post any pictures of their female BB Ambilobe's?

Now I get to name her lol. Was pretty easy for Leon, he's named after a game character that was a chameleon. From star fox 64, Leon Powalski, the one that's like "Andross has ordered us to take you down" And than he flies around in his arwing combat space ship and you have to kill him : l

But female names are kind hard... I kinda like Joy, or Emily, or Kelly. But at the same time I don't want to give her a people name lol. Kinda weird.

what about Leona? It's a feminized version of Leon. And probably my favorite female name in the entire world.

Just got her to eat a hornworm! She stared at it for a bit on my finger for a few minutes. But I gave up and put on a branch in front of her and she got it when I left the room lol. She isn't eating that much kinda worries me because there's still alot of crickets roaming her cage from yesterday. Hopefully her appetite will come back after that hornworm : /

I put like 10 crickets in her cage and 4 in her cup. I put another hornworm in the cup with the crickets that she didnt eat. So hopefully she'll get em. She's always staren at the cup to lol
