male/female

I would have to say no. I'm pretty sure your not supposed to house any male and female together, no matter the species. But I'm not 100% sure.

thats what i thought then i read on a site u can, think i just get a seperate set up and get randal a girl friend :D

i have 1 male with 2 females in a large free range and lots of supervision (ive also been dooing this since 1992 ) i monitor them constantly, only reccomended for advanced keepers with lots of room

i would never recomend keeping males and females together in caging, they have no way to avoid eachother..

No.
While sdheli keeps his panthers on a huge free range, his chams have their own spots they can go to, and hes equipped to handle when they breed.. which will happen at some point in time.

Until you are more experienced with chams, I would not recommend keeping chams together. especially not in a cage. anytime chams are kept together in a cage are because they are pygmies.

I would suggest keeping them in their own cage as well. They need their own space because they are very territorial. Females especially. If one of my girls isn't in a receptive state of mind, they just might show the male in no uncertain terms to leave her the hell alone!

and they doo!! my male was chased away on a few occations, only because of the huge amount of room are they fine once they give eachother space ..i reccomend two 2'x2'x4' screen cages side by side with a cloth, or paper visually separating them..also looks really clean too, and if you get a misting system they both hook right up, and same with a drainage.. and one long uvb bulb can cover both tops of the cages (2 separate basking lights tho)

thanks for this advice im really looking into breeding him problem is i will want to get them all lol, going to look more into breeding then go for it i think will keep updated.
