Sleeping during the day is a prob and if he continues doing it you might want to post your cham info using "how do I ask for help guidelines."

also his leg is hanging off of the branch when he sleeps what does that mean?

Mine is 19mths and doing the same behavior and I'm using a blue 60w bulb in a 4' cage. Today and yesterday he's been hanging near the bottom area.
