Made some feeding cups today

And my Daschund "Tots". Was not impressed. I asked what she thought and obviously I was disturbing her afternoon siesta.

How neat! Is the mesh at the bottom so that the food doesn't jump out? I just use a regular cup or my water bottle upright with mesh in the back and a hole cut out in the front

I think its because Crocky uses an automatic mister, so that way the cup doesn't fill up with excess water and drown the lil insects!

And to Crocky, very nice idea. I especially like the added touch with the hooks. When I get an automatic mister I might take this idea from you Thanks for sharing!

Nice looking cups, nice idea...and Tots is adorable, I had a long hair daschund a few years ago and they are special little dogs.

Thanks, they are 1 1/2 pint size freezer cups. got them at kmart for $2.99 for 4. i used hot glue on the bottom for the mesh after i cut the bottom out with a blade. I put the mesh at the bottom so the water from the mister won't drown the bugs.

Yep, that is exactly why I did it, Setting up my mister tomorrow. I use zip ties on the screen for a loop and the hooks just hook right in it. The cup hangs at a slant but I prefer it that way, Better viewing for Waldo

Thanks and funny you say that we call her "our special girl". She loves only me and Sandy and that is it. I have another Daschund a yorkie and a German Shepherd.

I got it from an older screen door but lowes, Home Depot, walmart etc carry it
