I am new at chameleons. I have a 9month old Veiled Chameleon. I got him when he was 3months old. I have notice he isn't as bright a green as he once was and his grip seems to not be as strong on the vines. He has fallen a few times. I am concerned. He is eating well and I'm not sure he is drinking enough. I don't usually see him drinking. I knew someone who had a female and she was always a bright green. Should I be concerned? Should I take him to a vet yet? Or are there things I can do first at home?

I can try to answer with some advice, but...

Weak grip is usually a beginning sign of MBD, a calcium supplement is recommended. Try getting one that is marked "without D3". Still, more information and pictures always helps on getting you more specific advice.
