Low appetite

Hello,

I just took my panther chameleon to the vet today. As I thought he is underweight. He is growing very slowly. He is 6 months old and he looks the size of a 3 to 4 month old. He was treated for possible parasites. Unsure if he has a parasite or not. The vet is thinking if it was a parasite he will now begin to eat and gain weight. He is a picky eater tho. Any tips would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows how to get his appetite up. Thanks for all the help!!!!

Without testing the feces for parasites there is no way to know if the chameleon has them or which one it has if it does have a parasite. There are different medications needed to kill different parasites.

Please post a recent photo of your chameleon and answer the questions in the how to ask for help thread at the top of the health section. Be specific about the supplements and how often you use each and include what you feed/gutload the insects with.
