Last weekend we had our third power outtage in 2 months, this one thankfully only lasted 6 hours. Problem is this is the first one since I purchased my veiled chameleon which is now aprox 4 months old. During the outage his colors were dark, im assuming to try and absorb heat but his colors still havent seem to go back to normal. He always seemed to be bright green before but now seems to have this darker color pattern on him. He is a turquise/sunburst from A1 reptile. Still seems to be eating about a dozen crickets a day though, should I be concerned. Thanks

I don't see any reason to be concerned. If he is eating drinking and pooping he should be fine.

They go without heat and light at night anyway, they should be fine. They turn black to absorb the heat. I wouldnt be worried unless the temps droped below the high 60's.

Thanks, I just get nervous whenever his actions or appearance change drastically. Since I have had him he had seem to gotton on a regular schedule and this seemed to have thrown him off or cause a little stress. At aprox what age do these guys start showin their adult colors.
