Lost and Found my Cham today

Today I opened the enclosure for my Sambava inside the house and got sidetracked because a litter of puppies were born. After I got back from that I realized my Sambava was missing somewhere in the house. Its a large room and he could have been anywhere. Not to mention my two ShihTzu dogs were playing in the same room! Fortunately after a long search I went by a fake plant on the opposite side of the room and he colored up enabling me to see him. So glad he is alright and showing me some awesome colors lately

Love this guy I got off of Tom (Kilgour Chameleons). This guy thinks he is so big and bad.... But he doesn't have me fooled!

Glad it all turned out well. Some of us, ok me, have lost chams in the house a good couple of times.

I've lost Sinclair Soooo many times.
And she's only ever green haha.

I lose Shark all the time, I have over 40 plants in my house and she is so hard to find on them. She know has a favourite spot at the top of my 10ft tall dracaena, i think she likes it there cause she knows I can't get her down.

Once for 9 days, second time for 12.

Glad it was a happy ending. So frustrating to loose a Cham in your home! It's aleays a mad search.

I felt like the worse Cham Mom possible. It's good to hear that I am not the only one as it makes me feel better. I usually watch them so closely... I can not believe I was so careless. Thankfully my dogs are good with other animals... but you never know for sure what can happen. Just so glad I found him.. in a plant he has never been in before.
