Looking thinner

I have been feeding our 5-6 month old Jackson about 10-15 crickets a day and he always has mil worms in there that he can eat he has been looking Kind of thin the last two days I don't know if I need to worry or not. He eats good and as far as I know drinks good as well. Any suggestions or something I should be looking for? Do I need to start feeding him more?

that sounds like a decent amount of feeders for that age. How big are the crickets? Is your chameleon active or lethargic? Have you weighed him to be sure he is actually lost weight?

He never really has been too active he is the same in that way. I haven't weighed him I am thinking I need to get something so I can. Also they are small/medium crickets.

are you sure he is really thinner? Sometimes we worry ourselves over nothing. There is something about chameleons I have to say cause I have never worried so much about a pet in my life. I think it might be this forum cause I think I have learned too much about what can go wrong and then u start looking for things!

Right now I'm in the same boat. But my male Ringo is 3-4 months old and my female Angel is 4-5 months old. Ringo has ate ALL of his crickets (10-15) and silkworms (3-4) and to me he's skinny. Angel hasnt ate her silkworms but some of her crickets and she's big.

I mean maybe he is just relaxing more so he isn't puffed up anymore? I worry over everything as it is lol! :)

Carol, you hit the nail on the head! There is so much information overload here, that we become experts on being experts. There is nothing better than this forum, but I find myself at times SO PARANOID with this chameleon addiction, that I sometimes forget to just plain enjoy my chamelons.
