If you are looking for a small amount of chams <20 or so you will find this task to be rather hard and more of a pain in the ass than it is worth.

This just a suggestion, but when I google mapped London Ontario you "look" close to Buffalo, New York and Hamburg. This is also looking at a map with no sense of scaling on my part by the way. Why not just order a cham and have it Delta shipped at an airport there. You could drive to the airport and pick it up. Then drive back home. I'm not sure how tight the border is, but it's just a suggestion.
When I lived in the dorm, I used to Delta ship my animals to LAX. Since the mail room checked all packages and they have an absolute no pets (other than gold fish) policy.

I am on the same boat as you, importing from the states might be hard, but I guess what can be done is a list of canadian breeders and see who has what. I've seen many breeders in Canada that are not even on this forum, or sometimes you are looking for a weird hard to find cham and happens that the local pet store has it God knows how! I'll open a new theard asking for Canadian breeders to post what they have vailable. I am fairly new on the forum so not sure if this has this been done yet?

Unless you are ordering 4 or more, you will find importing from the states dreadfully difficult.
I suggest starting with Canadian suppliers, such as Chroma (site sponsor) is located in Canada. There are quite a few Canadians on this forum, lots in Ontario, so you could use this wanted section but with a more specific post - what exactly are you seeking?

Maybe there is someone in your local area that also wants to order, and you could combine your orders. Heck if there is anyone in the Victoria/Vancouver area who wants to do this, I'm interested!

There is alot of great genetics in Canada. Some of which came from the US. Check with Harry at Chroma. He has some nice Ambilobes available very soon.
WC's can be found but its tough to find, very pricy, and are usually loaded with parasites.
As for Ordering from the USA. there are a few companies out there. I have a large order of chams coming in and its been quite hectic. First of all, All the extra paperwork and permits cost over $400. Another problem i have been faced with is that CITIES is very backlogged in the USA, causing permits to take from 4 to 8 mths. This makes it hard to choose your chams since the 2-3mth olds that you want now have to be held and taking care of until the paperwork is done, costing extra money as well. Not to mention the time....8 mths is a long time! who knows whats going on by then....lol
Most companies wont be bothered. the ones that do have minimum big $$$ orders. Most are over $5000. Kammers i believe will ship for an order over $1000
I know of a few other Canadian companies who have battled the border and that will have offspring for sale soon. I dont see too many of them as sponsors or advertising much, but they are out there. Hopefully they do soon.
