Looking for new tree and plant

Hey guys, so Pascal is about to turn 2 months old and I am going to get him a new tree to keep outside, and possibly a new plant for my living room so that he can chill with me inside when he doesn't want to be stuck in his cage. What do you guys think would be a good tree for me to let grow outside, and what would be a good flowing plant for the indoors?

Thanks as always, Lake.

All depends on your climate for an outdoor tree. I planted some dogwoods for my chameleons. Inside, if you want flowering I would check out a nice hibiscus as they are safe and are beautiful plants.

I like ficus alli for a big house tree to set my Chams on or put in shower. Mulberry tree could be nice outside and you could feed the leaves to silkworms. Beware of their berries though, they stain everything. I think there might be fruitless kinds? Umbrella trees also do well both inside and out. Ficus are probably you're best bet, I have them outside in full hot sun and inside in the dark and they seem to do fine anywhere.

I live in Colorado, so its a pretty dry climate year round. I'll try and find a good looking ficus and keep it outside, and get myself a Hibiscus plant for indoors :)

Hibiscus need very strong light, most/all bulbs aren't even enough. They are also prone to pests (I learned this the hard way).
