Completely agree! Don't skimp on lights. Especially when you know MBD has been a problem! The living wall can wait.Lights are more important than a living wall.

Ok awesome I only have two small spider plants but my aunt has 3 iguanas and looots of reptile safe plants so I'm gonna go raid her plant stash for kamis cage in a few weeks I really want the jungle climber vines from our pet store they look so real! But its 22$ for one I'm definitely going to be looking for a higher paying job I love helping out at the pet grooming place but I need more than what I'm making to do this
Honestly, you can go outside and cut some branches. It saves you lots of money, and it is much much better for him to grip onto. I have to green looking moss vines And I really don't like them, they are very poky like and the green stuff rubs off. If you buy stuff offline you can always get it cheaper. Petco has vines like you a re talking about cheaper online because of Cyber Momday and Black Friday sales. They are doing free shipping too. You might be able to find a nice light fixture for a decent price.Ok awesome I only have two small spider plants but my aunt has 3 iguanas and looots of reptile safe plants so I'm gonna go raid her plant stash for kamis cage in a few weeks I really want the jungle climber vines from our pet store they look so real! i bought a light fixture off eBay for 30$. So I use two different fixtures plus a lamp for lots of lighting. Eventually(possibly Christmas) I will get a really nice light fixture from light your reptiles. But for the time being what he has now will work. Same for your situation. Just get proper lighting for now and then in the future when you save up more money sink it in to a nice fixture. Wait for sales to come up. I'm a college student and I am always looking for cheaper option. All of my plants I only paid 8$ each. (Lowes is the best for plants) you just need to wash each individual leaf with soap and water and let it run in the hot shower for 20 minutes. Just for us of any pesticides.Honestly, you can go outside and cut some branches. It saves you lots of money, and it is much much better for him to grip onto. If he has or had MBD you NEED a brand new bulb please! Do not skimp on this. Just wait and save for cooler plants over time the bulb has priority here! (I feel your pain btw, just got a new bulb on Monday, without the fixture is was $30 for just one 3 footer.. >.<)Does anyone know where I can get a cheep used one? Because its gonna cost me 65$ to build kamis new cage and the lights I have seen are running that high as well and I really don't want to spend that much because its gonna cost like a additional 50$ to do the living wall and I want to flourish this cage with plants but kami is recovering from mbd that he developed from the vendors care we got him at a expo 5 weeks ago and he's showing improvement but I want his new home to have the uvb he needs but perhaps a little cheaper ? Could I use multiple blue day time uvb lamps? I really need to find a cheaper alternative
