To make my boyfriend a little happier, I'm looking to give my veiled chameleon away to a good home. Instead of posting this on craigslist, I feel I'll have a lot better candidates on here.
She'll eat anything I put in the cage. Dubia roaches, silkworms, mealworms, superworms, crickets, you name it! She has recently laid eggs, which is a difficult task to get her to do! I tried the cut out bucket method which didn't work. I ended up using a huge trashcan from home depot that works great but will only fit in a 24x24x48 cage. Then I cover the cage with a towel.
I think she's over 2 years old. She doesn't like being held and will hiss and gape if you put a hand in her cage. She will eat food out of a hand though. She shoots her tongue at anything that moves. There have been times that I would move my head around and she would have her tongue out, ready to get me in the face
I'm really looking for someone who would give as much/more care to her then I have. I'll post a picture when I can.
& I would like to find someone locally in Maryland.
