You dont want to "help" by trying to pull it off in case you pull up a bit of skin and allow for infection to get in. If you are worried that the shed is taking too long, either spray more frequently as posted above, or give it a nice shower
It's a flaky dry piece hanging off her cheek, she keeps trying to push it off with her foot. I keep misting her once the cage dries, but it's hanging on by a thread. She tried to rub on the mesh cage, but slipped so now she scraping it on vines. It's painful to watch, makes me itch! I started scratching my arms and neck just watching her. Heebie Jeebies!
My male gecko has shed 4x in 2 months. I never pull the shed off, but I do help him with his feet after we almost a lost toe to a bad shed, but the vet got it off. She has me soak him. Shower might be in order. How long should I give it before I give her a shower? Her sheds seem to slough off and take forever:/
