Look what I found! And an extra picture of my Boxie :)

Hello all!

Well I found what I am sure is a pair of Southern Ringneck Snakes. They are really neat and I love them. I am thinking the female may be gravid, so I am housing them now to see if she'll lay.

I caught my Box Turtle basking so I snapped a quick picture of him.

Edit: I guess my camera died before I actually snapped the picture of the turtle. I'll get some pictures tomorrow

She certainly looks gravid. I hatched out the northern form years back... D. punctatus edwardsii. They lay long cylyndrical eggs. They mostly feed on salamanders but will take earthworms too sometimes.
 
I tried giving them some crickets and nothing. I also tried a super worm. Maybe when they get a little more hungry they'll eat.

I don't know where I could get salamanders here besides paying for them from the reptile shop.

What did you do with the hatchlings Kevin?
