Ok so I started with this

Which was a bunch of sticks I unraveled from a wicker basket then I did a little of this

Then a little more

And then I kept the bottom of the basket to do this

for a basking platform and then I did some more and it now looks like this!!!!!!!

That is very cool and really creative...I am going to try that!

If after a while you find it becomes slippery for your cham from misting etc take a bit of sandpaper and run over it to rough up the surface. :)
 
It's a fairly grainy wood it was being misted while he decided to check it all out and it looks like he was gripping great! Just remember to soak the whole basket s long time before you start taking it apart and the stick for even longer they soaked almost all day!

Well I salvaged a bunch of plants and what not for my cham's cage and some of the plants came in the baskets and I noticed today my cham seemed to be bored and needing more to do so yeah I guess in a long way of answering your question yeah it just popped in lol
