Longevity of Repti-sun 5.0's (Liniear)

Just throwing this out there but i have two new 5.0's and was courious on the life of the UVB output. I have read to replace at 6 months, and i have read they last a full year, i doubt this is the case. is the 6 month replace about on par with what the rest of yall do ?

ive heard they have been tested at 9 months and still put out uv rays..

i change bulbs about every 6-8 months...i havent had any issues

We swap ours every 6 months... Also, we use double tubes so they always have one that is less than 6 and one that is more than 6... All and all it works out nicely.
