Long-distance traveling question

In the next month I will be traveling from Maryland to Washington state. Unfortunately I have to drive this distance. It should take me three or four days. I have two chameleons a female and male panther. Wanted to know the best way to travel. Just put them in a dark box and then take out when I'm in a hotel or have them travel in a screened cage in the back of the car. I could cover the screen cage.

I plan on keeping the car nice and warm.

I also have over 70 eggs coming with me


Any suggestions. Box or cage.
