For those unfamiliar, the only threat from a Labbie is possibly being licked to death—friendly to the point of absurdity.

To put it another way, if what you want or need is a watchdog or guard dog, DON'T get a Lab.
They will most likely invite an intruder in, offer them refreshments, and help them carry out your stuff.
