my girl loves the live plant(s) I put in her cage. Its another thing to climb and hide in, obviously. However, as soon as I put the plant in with her, she eats the leaves. Two or three days is all the plant can stay in there before all the leaves are gone and there's just the ends of branches and the little trunk of this plant left. Should I just leave the plant out of her cage for good or continue taking it out, letting it grow all the leaves back after s few weeks and putting it back in for another two days or so?

A couple of ideas...offer her some leafy greens and/or chunks of fruit (check the veiled caresheet for suggestions) so she may start eating them instead of her plants. Also, you could keep several plants and rotate them in or out of the cage.

Also sometime they are prone to eat the leaves for moisture. Make sure she is getting plenty to drink.
