Little Dripper?

I am wondering if this is a good purchase or not.

I am also wondering if people have automatic type misters set on timers... and where you got it from. We leave for 2 days occasionally and I am trying to figure out how we will work this for the chameleon.

Thank you!!!

A lot of people on here including me have MistKings. They are a site sponsor on here. www.mistking.com.

You can have it set to go off as many as 8 times a day for however long you want each time. Its the best purchase i ever made for these critters.

A mist system will make your life extremely easier. Either Mist King or Aquazamp will do the job. It does require a drip tray. A little dripper is ok to have, I have them on my Rudis and Panther cages for in between mistings.

Rather than buy a "little dripper" you can make one yourself very inexpensively. Indeed a plastic container with a pin hole in the bottom works fine. Or see these:

If you trust anyone to come in a fill the dripper at least once a day, no need to invest in a mister. Indeed a chameleon can go without water for a day or even a weekend, if needs be (I would suggest not going more than one day without water if possible). If you are away for longer than a couple days and have no one to provide water, an automatic system is the way to go for sure (though it still helps to have someone check that the system didnt fail the second day of a week long vacation).
