Little cricket tip.

If you buy crickets in bulk like I do, this little trick might save you a few hundred lost crickets. I place the box they came in, inside a bucket over night. I do this for 2 week and under, sized crickets. Because they are able to climb inside the corrugated part of the cardbroad boxes. I do this about three times before breaking down box for the recycle bin. And the extra yield is pretty great. Otherwise I would be throwing hundreds of crickets away.

Pictured is a 2nd yield of crickets from box/bucket method.

i transfer mine from box to their container in the bath tub. They can't crawl up the sides! Never lose any this way either.

Yeah, Armstrong ships all their cricks 1/3 grown & smaller in hard tubes to keep them from hiding like that. It used to tick me off when i'd have to beat on the boxes to get all the hiders to fall out. I love the tubes, they seem to survive better in them as opposed to the boxes when dealing with the small sized cricks.

Hey Steve Im going to have to hit you up for some fresh CC today Im all out.:D
