List of what to expect on a vet visit?

As not everyone has access or info on what reptile vets may be good or heck experienced with Chameleons, thought may be good to make a sticky on what to expect on a CHAMELEON vet visit? Both Normal healthy check over, to when ill examples?

I ask as it may be helpful to have a idea of kind of normal workups, recommended diagnostics so if missing one can ask for them, or perhaps get a bit better feeling about what direction is the normal plan of action?

Each case is different, diagnostics can come back neg.. of course.. Each case is individual, and to be discussed with the owner and vet.. But, having some ideas on what is the standard plan, for normal exams, plus what to expect to diagnose or rule out would be of great benefit??

So? what to expect at the vet for.....


Normal routine new pet exam-
Exam for breathing troubles-
Exam for Lumps bumps swellings-
Exam for mobility or eating issues-



Any takers by the vets on this forum, or ones with more experienced vets and more experience taking Chams to the vet??
