i just got a new one last week can some one please help me i hope he doesnt have early signs of mbd because i can not afford a vet even in payments

He needs to get out in the sun
If you have liquid calcium and know how to administer it, then it wouldn't hurt.
Imo they pull on their legs in discomfort, but that truly is my feeling not an official Vet statement.
I all but stopped my mbd progression with shots, but im ok with injections, oral is good

I had to get my injectable from a vet, so im sure the same will apply to oral. Do you have a herp vet?, if you do he/she might offer to just give you a script for the liquid without an office visit. It depends on the vet and the relationship you have with them

sontiger gave some solid advice. it does sound like he has a symptom of mbd. usually the result of poor uvb quality and/or poor nutrition. with what info that has been given from your care. it is hard for me to believe he has mbd unless your bulb was a factory defect, something blocking uvb or somehow he was getting something that would inhibit calcium absorption.

glass or plastic between the cage and uvb bulb?
how old was the bulb when you changed it?
is his basking spot to uvb within 12 inches?
can the bulbs rays be completely utilized by the chameleon?
are you gut loading with foods like cabbage, broccoli, rhubarb, spinach?

i gutloaded with spinach and id didnt reaplace it until last week i got the old zilla on december and i got a reptisun last week

Good Wet Gutloading Ingredients: dandelion leaves, collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, escarole lettuce, butternut squash, carrots, mango, alfalfa sprouts, oranges, blueberries, raspberries, sweet potato, strawberries, hibiscus leaves and flowers, papaya

Good Dry Gutload Ingredients: bee pollen, alfalfa powder, kelp powder, brewer’s yeast, wheat germ, raw uncooked sunflower seeds, raw uncooked pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, small amounts of whole grain cereals, spirulina algae, tortoise pellets

Foods to AVOID: Broccoli, spinach, beets, and parsley, have large amounts of oxalic acids which bind calcium absorption. Lettuces and cabbage do not have any significant nutritional value. Also, avoid things like dog food, cat food, and fish flakes which are high in animal proteins which can cause kidney damage. Feeding such things like pinky-mice, fuzzies, and feeder anoles that are extremely high in fat and protein content is harmful to your chameleon's health, bones and organs that can lead to serious illnesses like gout, edema, organ failure and fatality.

Get him in real sun (it's better than our UVB lights) and start giving liquid calcium orally if you have it. Oral absorption is better than with injections.

You can buy a liquid calcium at a pharmacy. Just be careful giving it to the chameleon since its kind of syrupy and you don't want to end up with it in the chameleon's lungs.

cant i buy it from lllreptile or some reptile website some one please tell me and how exactly do you give it to them?
thanks previous poster but i would rather get a reptile one from a known brand

Liquid Calcium doesn't have a brand and there isn't a reptile specific label. It is a supplement for any species (including people) and only comes as it is.

I read somewhere on the forum that some people will feed the these liquid supliments whilst they eat a cricket or whatever it is you'll be feeding your Cham at the time, sometimes takes two or three crickets to administer the required dose.

But the general feedback on that method was positive.
