Liquid Calcium

I recently purchased some liquid calcium from a local pet store. Lo and behold, I spilled it, and what was left ended up getting some dirt in it (don't open your stuff outside LOL).
So, it looks like I will be needing to get some online (otherwise I'd just go get some from the pet store again).

What brands do you suggest?

Mine came from the vet and just says Calcium Glubionate liquid.

ya, if you need panacur, liquid panacur is the way to go, because (unlike paste panacure) it can easily be injected into feeders. same goes for calcium glubionate, if you can get it, liquid is better than paste, for the same reasons jmo

Yep, I will probably start investing a small fortune into phoenix worms as well. Oh well, I love my rescue crested.

I wonder if I should try the B1, Ace (the rescue) twitches a lot.

Whats the difference between calcium glubionate and calcium gluconate? Sorry if this is a little of topic.

I recomend the TREX brand if you are trying to stop MBD in the gecko or just up the calcium intack.
You should notice a difference after a few weeks of using it.

Oh and make sure you check the expiry date on it

Whats the difference between calcium glubionate and calcium gluconate? Sorry if this is a little of topic.

good question, im still a little confused on this myself. this is my understanding of the short answer; calcium gluconate contains glucose (blood sugar) and some forms are injectable. calcium glubionate is generally more concetrated and contains no glucose and is therefore not injectable (oral only). in chameleon/reptile terms, both are used in the prevention and treatment of "mbd". just to be clear, i dont think liquid calcium should be used summarily, and i dont think it is usually neccessary for chamelons who are kept with good husbandry practices, but on the other hand, i dont think a single dosage of liqud oral calcium every 6 months can hurt anything either, but like all supplements, there is a danger of overdoing them. jmo

Do you have any idea what calcium glubionate is? Cholecalciferol versus calcium glubionate..

I see that I am severely mistaken.... After the UVB drop post yesterday and seeing your post "liquid" I immedialty went into a mode where all liquid was bad.
