No, the first one is better, compact UV bulbs have been proven to cause problems in chameleons, linear is what is recommended.

Will these bulbs be insufficient for Pygmy Brev's?

Not sure about pigs, id imagine theyre the same, compacts can cause sight and other problems in chameleons, it cant hurt to change, better safe than sorry
