I've had a compact repti sun 5.0 UV bulb on my tank and recently removed it and am going to get the tube kind that go in the hood. is one better than the other? the packages say they put out the same UVB % and everything? opinions? thoughts? just wondering

ok i checked out that link. i kinda got what its saying. so i'll get the linear tube asap! i wish they would write those studies up so normal people could understand it, though!!
