Lights / mister placement question

Ok so I am setting up a brand new cage. I have a 24x24x48 Dragonstrand cage. If you are standing at the fromt from a birds eye view, I have my Tropical Blaze Quad fixture in the front, my zoomed 8.5" deep dome basking light on the back right corner and my mistking rain nozzle setup on the back left corner.

How would you set up these particular fixtures on your cage? Trying to figure out what is the most optimal set up. I havent fully set up the rain nozzle so not sure of the overspray.

Let me know how you would set it up. Thanks.

You and me are literally in the same position. I have a dragon strand as well, UVB fixture on the front half of the top, basking in the back right and rain nozzle in back left.

I haven't tested the nozzle either, BUT what I'm planning to do for overspray from within the cage is I'm going to use some window insulation film on the back side and possibly the left side once I secure the tubing: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RY5DPE2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Any spray or mist will go against that and fall straight down into the drainage tray.

As for overspray on top, I'm gonna just run it first and see how bad it is, and if it's going places, I'm going to get a plastic potter from home depot that's wide and deep enough and just rest it right over the rain nozzle, making it a rain dome.

Here's some pics of my setup so far... I've just zip tied the big branches to the ledges, and I'm waiting for a second bulkhead to install in the drainage tray that will direct any overflowing water to a second bucket of the same size as my reservoir.

What kind of chameleon? A cool-weather montane species set up will differ from the set up of a sun-loving male veiled.

I have my quad fixtures several inches off the top screen. I have one mister nozzle at one front corner pointing towards the back diagonal corner so about 2/3 of the cage gets misted 8 times a day. In general, I don't use a basking bulb for the montane species I have, finding heat build up is my biggest problem. The quad lights throw off a lot of heat.

Even with the three solid sides of the Dragonstrand enclosures, I find a bit of over spray from the water drops landing on the hard floor and splattering. I believe Dragonstrand will soon have a new clear door available that can be retrofitted to an existing cage. I've ordered a couple of doors to try them out. I intend to replace my bottom service doors with these clear doors to keep in the over spray. My chameleon room has hardwood floors and the water is a disaster waiting to happen.

Hey, sorry to mention its for a 7-8 month Panther.

Good info and Jcarlsen, let me know how it goes.
It was bugging me for a while last night and I'm the type of person that want things perfect... Haha. I probably should test the nozzles but have a few more things to do first.

So just to update. I got it all set up and used the window insulation only on the bottom half of the sides and back and no leakage.

The mistking is amazing and quiet. Gonna put Jasper in tomorrow hopefully.
